I noticed that as well. Did a double check and realized their symbol was HS.

Wonder how many actually bailed on that.

Thanks - I checked it out - CHS Electronics (symbol HS) was down 33% to $4 today as they had to restate earnings - since all the headlines say "CHS" it is a plausible explanation. It also could be some profit taking, but at this level, it doesn't seem to make sense to be dumping although I suppose some short term trading could be going on.

I still like the odds, while realizing the risks. If the fall line start shipping in June, shouldn't the orders be coming in for production around now? Any further insights appreciated.

(I wonder why if they didn't just take this thing private when the recapitalization occurred, but I'm pleased they did not. But with only a small percentage of shares left outstanding, I wonder if they considered it. Too late now, a "fair price" would be well above the current trading level.)

RC, I agree. Here's the write-up in the WSJ:

<NYSE-traded CHS Electronics plummeted 2 1/16, or 34.4%, to a 52-week low of 3 15/16. The company posted fourth-quarter earnings of 23 cents a diluted share, compared with its year-earlier 45 cent profit. CHS said it will restate lower its second- and third-quarter results to reflect overstated vendor rebates. Credit Suisse First Boston, Cleary Gull and NationsBanc Montgomery Securities lowered their ratings on CHS.>
