Mark,

The news on Dell and PCs in general seem to correlate with stories I am hearing about softness in OEM factory orders here in Asia. WDC has acknowledged a revenue shortfall this quarter while maintaining they would meet estimates of a loss of 67 cents or so through cost savings.

We are entering the warning period with a lot of investor nervousness that I suspect is spilling over on to solid issues like HTCH and SEG. This is, as you seem to have gathered, a buying opp IMO.

I still see a strong market at the high end and believe that SEG has a chance to surprise on the upside based on strong sales and regained share in that segment. HTCH, as we all know, simply must increase output with demand already there. The battle over the desktop and increased fervor of battle in the 2.5 inch segment will likely continue to give investors some nervousness.

Sometimes we look at stock prices too frequently. This is one of those times IMO.

Best,
Stitch
