about your find, nice, everytime I'm out & about, I see nuggets and placer / wire gold examples a little(40%) to a lot(600+%) above spot. Yes, offical price & real price are bunches different. Spoke to my brother Sunday(Southern NM) said K-Rand are going for $325-335 M-Leaves & Eagles demand even more.
