"Either there really is a buyout deal in the works or this stock has now become an internet stock as internet stocks behave, buying- and movement-wise, just like Fore has been in the last 2-3 days."

Whaaat?? Stocks don't become internet overnight.

ATM technology is hot right now (and has been for a while). For the last year or so most of the smaller ATM vendors have seen their stock price gyrate on rumors of takeovers by the big data comm companies. So it could be that this is just the same old buy on the rumor - sell when it doesn't pan out situation. This happened to ASND and XYLN several times before they got bought out. This has also happened to FORE several times in the last 6 months or so. It will either get bought out, or drop back down until the next rumor. I seriously doubt all of a sudden Wall St. is pricing FORE as an internet play. check out the stock price action on Ciena (CIEN) and the rumors on the net and news services to see a similar scenario. Other takeover plays (should come as no surprise)
are PAIR, NN, and CIEN.

IMHO
Happy Hunting, Matt
