My "Top 5" list to characterize the transition: 1) Hang huge banners declaring the new stores as "Y2K-free Zones". 2) Order employees to enroll in re-education programs. [You will now key-in 1000 times "Wintel sucks ...".] However, on the plus side, they'll get to bonfire those nasty red polos ... 3) Continue to stock PC gear but it will take up no more than 5% of the floor space and the software aisles will always be blocked by stock ladders. 4) Stock complete lines of USB and Firewire peripherals but make PC owners download the appropriate drivers. 5) Sell hardware/software at a loss but make even bigger profits off extended warranties and financing charges. This is too much fun. :)
