I saw that site for MB Trader clients a while back and it seemed like it might be somewhat useful. MB Traders output could use a little more of the reporting side, IMO. For $35 why not give the program a shot?

I imagine by next year we will see improvements in place at many of the "trader" brokerages as their customers complain of the year-end analysis required this past year.

on the other hand, a serious trader who is truly operating a bona fide trade or business would likely have a set of "books" that accurately reflect the results of the trading activity. Many use "Quicken", but I see an Excel spreadsheet as just as good for many.

MB Traders has an Excel import function where even if you did 100 trades a day you could bring it all in. I'd bet the program you mentioned starts with that Excel file and hangs some whistles and bells on it.
