Thank you much for that GH!
I guess I've got too much time on my hands!-I was
trying to come up with a reason for having to run
the liner in the first place!
I got to thinking that if the water that is
inside the casing was boiling and flashing steam it
would be less dense .This would have increased
the differential pressure between that of the
formation on the outside of the casing and that of the water
column inside..But with the pressure only needing
to be about 750 psi to stop boiling, that idea was
way out to lunch!! I should have known better than
to ask that, but I really thank you for taking the
time to answer....LP
...PS-I guess a guy could roughly simulate Old
Faithful if he was to swab about 90 % of the water
out of the casing hey??!! :-)) Chat later,LP
