It's been a while since I've taken a hard look at this but didn't the FDA say that it will take something like 9 months from the end of the trial before the results are made public? I thought I also read something from the company about having less than a year of cash. I could dig around and find this information, but I'm sure many of you already have it memorized. If these facts are even close to accurate it brings up two questions:
1) Why the big deal about the end of the trial if we have to wait 9 more months to learn the outcome?
2) Can the company hang on until the results are in?

I apologize if my facts are wrong. Anyone care to comment? I am disturbed by all the hype surrounding the end of the trial when the real announcement is still a long way off.

George w, I do not think St Mary's will hype, they were clear: Shock
type of patients was what they mentioned, and those cases do have mortality in the 25% to 65% range.

I am impressed with that remarkable finding from you, I have being looking all over the Imperial College/St Mary's web site for clue. You obtained a very good one. Thank You.
