Curtis, I spoke with Synsorb's IR person. Patience will definitely be required on this play. It will be at least two years before their Synsorb PK drug is available.... IF all goes well. Similarily, it will be at least 3 years until anything comes of their Oncolytics acquisition. It also sounds like they may be in the middle of doing a financing.... Yikes! around these prices. The only good thing, IMO, is that they believe their Oncolytics cancer product can be protected by patents.

I like the company, but I'm not that patient.... Also, I really don't like the fact that recent sales have originated from Yorkton. Yorkton's Feb 99 report states an $11.00 / share target price, yet their house (or someone at their house) is selling into an extremely weak market. Also, SYB's IR person said the target prices have all been revised downward.... I'm bailing, for now. Just too much risk given these time lines. Ouch!

Good luck,

JT
