PAL,
Hi!!!

RE: Go first class. Get Dell. Now Kemble, you told me on the phone to get more Dell and catch up with you. If you just stay still, my buying more Dell will let me closing in on you, but you keep moving away by also buying more Dell.

Got a feeling that DELL management is waiting to prove this skeptics wrong...have been re-reading the last two months of posts I collected...Below is just one of the many indications that things are doing very very well at Metric..
Someone posted this today: In the past it has proved very accurate...The folks in Austin aren't exactly all out fishin'.. :o)

Update on Dell P3 ordered on 3/2/1999:

P3 500Mhz ordered via Dell website on 3/2/1999.
Original Estimated Ship by Date was 3/23/1999.

I received a call today from Dell to inform me that due to an
"unexpected delay" the
Estimated Ship by Date had been changed to 3/31/1999. I called Dell
Service to ask
the reason for the delay. Dell customer service told me that the delay
is due to a
backorder for DVD's. I asked how the P3's have been selling and he says
that it seems
a lot of people waited for the P3 to appear before ordering their pc.
He said things have
been "Very hectic, very busy" since Dell began taking orders for P3's.
