Peter - Why would any operator use CDMAone? Do you believe that GSM is the superior technology?

In fairness to Tero I have never seen him, unlike Frezza, Schmitt or Lusignan, say that CDMAOne wasn't superior technology in many ways. (Although neither does he admit the superiority of CDMA - he just avoids the issue. I would speculate that he doesn't feel competent to judge which is a reasonable position for an individual on the outside.) Tero just claims that GSM has economies of scale and opportunity for more universal roaming and thus will steam-roller CDMAOne. I disagree for many reasons, but it isn't a completely ridiculous position.

In any case his articles are second only to The Economist in terms of being well written. Kind of funny that he writes better English than almost everyone on these boards and he isn't a native speaker (I loved the subtle reference to Microsoft as a cancer in his last article.)
