I don't see how a lower strike price reduces risk. April 15s are at 4 1/2. If news comes out that there is no takeover, those will drop more than a couple of points by the time options start trading (which is 15 minutes after the common starts trading). Why not buy the same amount of 20s at 2 and put the rest of your money in a money market?

I got a bunch of April 20s today at 1.5. If FORE is strong tomorrow, I bail 60% at 2.5 and hold the rest for the possibility of a windfall.
