I think it is a little more complicated. Both cable and copper are just carriers. Cable and copper both require modems. Both probably will need to be upgraded. I don't see the difference from this prospective.
Now if the modem delivers lots of value added services, the game could change, especially if the bandwidth is higher.

Today was brutal for dell. The macd hasn't looked this bad since early oct and its still dropping. I really thought 38 was the bottom. With the current momentum, it could easily cross below the 200dma. Will be a fun ride up though when she bottoms out. Dell always comes back first in the tech sector. The stocastic looks like a couple of days or more will go by before it starts moving up.
