Gates has no shares in the company that I am aware of. The following comments were in the companys original prospectus (june, 97):
"Management of the Company concurs with Microsoft's Chairman Bill Gates when he stated "Content is King" in response to an inquiry as to why he was purchasing photographic libraries, artwork rights and other visual media"

The company conceptually agrees with Gates but thats where things end.
Personally I'd like to see the company take the really bold move by becoming a broadband video web site - but they do not have the financial resources to do so. It would take about $100M. They would need a partner or a very large secondary. Despite dilution it would be well worth the effort in my opinion.
