Once again Johnathon I'm not surprised to see a liberal resort to emotional name calling in order to make a point. What did you do borrow Daniel's eight grade nasty word book and find "Idiot".

As to your actual points when you finally get around to making them.

1. The 40 hour work week... I suppose you think it would be better for us to follow France down the path to a 35 hour work week. After all if 40 hours is such a panacea, than 35 or 30 or perhaps 20 would be even better huh? I recommend you go take a class in basic Econ 101. You appear to strongly need it. The 40 hour work week is a myth. If an employer or worker really wants to get around it, they simply put them on salary, or work them under the table to avoid the extra taxes. Except of course the millions of government bureaucrats that are there to help us.

2. OSHA....Osha like all liberal programs has grown into a monster. Just like socialism it sounded good on paper (spread all the wealth evenly) maybe even looked good for a few decades, but eventually like all socialistic government run programs ended up creating huge powerful centers of corruption and anti-Americanism, which bully small and medium size companies. Common sense has long since left the OSHA vernacular of thought.

Keep telling yourself (like Tip O'neill) that America is great because of all our liberal social programs. Keep telling yourself that as we have our life energy sucked away in higher in higher taxes in order to feed the bureaucracy that is supposed to save us from ourselves. I bet the socialists in Mother Russia said the same sorts of things to their people.
