Republicans can't make an issue of the economy, so it has to foreign policy. This entire WWIII hysteria is a beat up to maintain high levels of military spending and attack the White House on some issue.

On Kosovo, if they wait long enough the province will be conveniently split into two by the inhabitants themselves. Holbrooke will then draw a line down the middle and call it a buffer zone, and face will be saved on all sides.

I'd actually be quite worried about the stockpiles of plutonium in Russia, wihch their govt can't pay upkeep on. If the Mad Republicans continue to ignore this, the stockpiles will go in to the hands of Comrade Criminal
