Hi John, There's a few people on this thread... although it does seem to be on life support. <G> To be honest, I don't really follow the fundamentals, but as far as the weather goes, this year (1999) has a serious la nina condition (as opposed to the extreme el nino condition in 98), which could produce dryness, and or drought, in certain growing areas. The last big La Nina that produced a drought was in 1988, i think. So far, Brazil's growing season has been good. Talk to you later Regards, Frank
