Exactly.

I am one of those who thought that IOM needed to pursue a strategy of being "the floppy replacement" and therefore, of being in EVERY box built by PC makers. It may well be that there will be NO such single "floppy replacement" but that a number of products will be available with ZIP dominating the field.

If this is true then any "OEM strategy" should simply be to have the drives "available" for those PC purchasers who WANT one in their machine with lots of other aftermarket options (USB, Zip250) available for purchasers of iMacs and other similar machines.

From a profitability standpoint (as a shareholder) this is probably the preferred and less risky approach.
