Contrast that with AMD's manufacturing capabilities!!

The fact that Intel has felt compelled three times this year to push their Celeron MHz up into PII/PIII range, is a pretty good indication that they are feeling the heat from AMD.

This puts Intel in a very uncomfortable position where their "low end" CPU performs almost as well as their top of the line products.

You can expect this to seriously impact Intel's bottom line, to the tune of billions of dollars a year.
