NO - there i no securties regulations preventing company officials from posting. Internal policies generally prohibit it.

GYR - BDE - AGM - I think they all have IR people posting

BTW - I am more comfortable being long and have not added to my position today and am glad becuse some of my buy orders were at level that none of us would have been happy with seeing

I don't know the exact reason (maybe someone else here does), but most company's directors choose not post on the threads. Every now and then you will see an IR person posting the company's official line (as told to them by the president), but very rarely do you see the management/directors posting. I have seen posts with information attributed to a company president, with the claim that the president is discouraged (or was it prohibited?) from posting on the thread directly.
