T, That's the way my bar makes the house whisky. Derivatives can get to be like counting angels dancing on the heads of pins. I remember the kaputs from the mid 1980s. They were calls on puts. Seriously. Didn't really catch on.

The put warrants have some logical connection for me. With a straight warrant, you are buying a long term call on a co. Why not warrants with a put? But straight warrants were sold to the public, for the most part, and as sweeteners to buy bonds. I don't know who is buying the put warrants (hope it isn't top mgt. <g>) and they certainly do not trade publicly. In fact, they were a dirty little secret until Earlie started getting nosy and told his friend, Gretchen, about it. <g>
