B, I hate chip equipment stocks. I thought Mutton Research (LCRX) was a possibility as a "hold your nose and buy" back when it was in single digits a few months back, but I couldn't find a strong enough clothes pin for this mighty schnozz. <g> Now that it is in the 30s, it is not a value on any concept of what is really happening.

B LRCX is in trouble unless it combines with NVLS. AMAT is pushing out LRCX tools from one fab I know of and there is nothing wrong with LRCX equipment or process. AMAT is pushing for selling total package which will not include competition equipment. And who said that the best technology always wins?<g>
