Thanks Aloha for the kind words about DELL's business booming. Today is so awful, I can hardly look.
I did get approved for a DELL credit card though!!! Soon as I get it Dell will have another sale!

The interesting point is that I then asked her how busy they
were. She went on and on about how business was just booming. She had been
there almost 4 years and had never seen the place so busy! All building were
working at full capacity, lots of overtime available and constantly hiring new
employees. Very, very upbeat. :-)

Aloha:

You are at least the second poster getting first hand info of Dell working at full capacity and that the business is booming. Read Chuzz's experience. He had to be put on hold for 20 minutes, yet he is not compaining!

PAL, some good news and some bad news about Dell:

First the bad news: I spent 20 minutes on hold trying to get to speak to a living human
sales representative so I could order a non-standard PIII machine as a graduation
present for my daughter. Very frustrating waiting on hold.

Now the good news: the representative told me that sales had been a bit soft prior to
the introduction of the PIII machines. Now that the PIII is available he says that his
phone system is lit up like a Christmas tree all the time. Dell has hired temps to keep up
with the demand.

CTC

Aloha! Thanks for the encouraging words regarding activity at DELL. Take a look at the following link:

Type in "DELL" and look at where the money is going. The blue bars indicate that people are actually buying at these prices. They were buying yesterday as well.

You might want to read Laszlo Birinyi's Interview in this week's Barron's. It will give you added insight on the money flow situation.

Best,

Duncan
