JDN - very nice job and thanks for your work. Haven't listened to the broadcast, and no I don't plan on selling my shares because I haven't :-) probably buy a few more soon. From your summary what is new and different?

> Later in the broadcast Doug got Jenkins to state that he estimated 200-400 MILLION in annual revenue JUST from these clients (doesnt include Beck, Airports, I-2 etc.)

Well he actually got JJ to place some future dollar figure on all these new high profile clients - good work. $200-400M without inclusion of all their revenue sources? If that is true thats fairly impressive. There could be another $50-100M in additional revenue from these other sources imo.

> 2. R.W.BECK has 500 engineers presently working with TAVA at 150 sites nationally. They are currently ONLY putting PATCHES on utilities systems to GET BYE. After Y2K they will go back and make complete fixes

I knew about the 500 engineers but i didn't know about the number of sites they were working at. Patching systems for roll-over and doing full scale remediation, replacement and integration post 2000 should ensure a tremendous amount of Utility work for this partnership. On that basis, TAVA should acquire or merge with RW Beck - no question in my mind.

> 3. Airport deal with Benz--they estimate 100's of MILLIONS of $$$ of business and expect to get a BIG PIECE of the pie.

We know about the alliance with Benz. I assume that the hundreds of millions of business is the size of the total market? What is a reasonable piece of the pie? JJ is on record as saying this is a stand alone business with revenue estimates of $25M (domestic). However, due to the Benz partnership, and its international scale, it will be much larger imo.

The above are what I find new and interesting without listening to the broadcast. Thanks JDN for your help in putting that together.

"... Sources of expertise that the President's Council has turned to in January of 1999 had a background in information technology and not embedded systems and have apparently provided the Council with some questionable estimates concerning the scope of the embedded systems problem. These questionable estimates are far more conservative that even the Gartner Group's revised (but nonetheless highly concerned) estimates."
