On conversion to .qif ... you are correct. I reran an output, but highlighted the "Orders" choice in the upper window above .qif output check mark. This is how you get the .qif file output.

The symbol section of the .qif file is slightly disguised, leading one to believe it is not an actual symbol. Ignoring the first letter shows the real symbol.

Reading the instructions can lead astray, thinking the reverse, that a .qif file from Quicken could be converted to a Scd D type layout with that .qif tool.

I'm concerned now, that merging the .qif file generated by StockTax98 might create a problem or two. It seems doable, however.

I will probably buy the software license to clean up my quicken folder. I know late night data entry has caused some problems.
