>The FACT is that both revenues and earnings were up in the latest earnings report.

Last quarter was the first time the revenues started to SLOW. It was the first quarter in which they didnt beat the street's expectations.

The growth rate is SLOWING now. I'm not saying their sales last quarter weren't higher than the previous quarter. But the RATE OF GROWTH is now dead-in-the-water.

<<. The FACT is that the ASP for Dell is well over $2,000.>>

This is a fact, as in reported history. The question in one analyst's mind is what the ASP is in the first quarter. Bloomberg news reported that the analyst, James Poyner of CIBC Oppenheimer (hold rating on Dell) was expecting the ASP to come in under $1900 for the first quarter.

Perhaps this partly explains why there is such a diverse range of opinion on the company?

Neither long nor short DELL. Just a discussion.
