The latest Media Metrix data show that Amazon extended its January slide into February -- traffic was off 4%.

In other news, Bluemountain came roaring back from its post-Xmas blues, posting a 48% bounce off its January lows. Interesting that ZDnet is seeing some traffic problems (down 5%) and that Yahoo is still growing nicely.

Semi-related: only 3 of the top fifteen sites made it from 1996 to 1999.

So far, we have Dell Oracle, Cabletron, Compaq, IBM, Intel, AMAT,
Caterpillar, HWP, and many others go down on earnings concerns. Only
financials have good earnings. Does that mean nasdaq has more down
days coming ?<<

Possibly more on the flat side from here a trading range 2300 to 2380 on compx for now earnings fears will hold us back for a week or two plus it's tax bill time too.. You say only financials have good earnings? Dow 10,000 then onto 11,000 ... we'll see new highs on Amzn too it's early yet for a jump.
