Edgy. I follow t.a. about as close as any body on this board. Why don't you check back and see who came closest to calling bottom around 12. Me. good luck in your trades, I was just having a little fun. Without the last upgrade, eggs would have probably drifted back to the 15 1/4 to 17 area. It could again. Another day of legalized gambling on the web.

Research on Egghead traffic / revenues In a bout of insomnia, I did a check on auction revenue from ONLY the Mega+ auction segment of the Egghead weekend auction ending 3/29. I estimate just this portion will bring in at least $350k this weekend. As a point of reference, I recall $250k as this figure on average about nine months ago. Obviously, you can't extrapolate too far from these two data points, nor can you conclude the overall revenue from on-line sales will have grown at a 40% rate over nine months, but it is worth considering as evidence of the growth rate. FYI . . . Egghead was NOT in the top 10 shopping sites in February on the Media Metrix list mediametrix.com (I think it was in the top 10 in December or January or both). Egghead does continue, however, to be listed as the fifth-most-frequented shopping site on the hot100.com site.
