How about all the time and money spent on a useless impeachment trial at the expense of other more pressing issues that truly have an effect on the average American's life? How about all the money spent during the Reagan years on such ridiculous initiaves as Star Wars and defense procurements while people starve on the streets? Who's the real enemy? The friggin former Soviet Union or poverty in your own country. The Republicans have always made it a point to engage in scare-mongering to get votes because the platform offers nothing to the average citizen. Different story if come from the other side of the railroad tracks.
