hmmm...could this be the day that analysts and investment mgrs have been looking forward to for weeks now in which there is across the board selling, bordering on irrational, high volume, and "capitulation," in order for the bull market to speed ahead beyond the 10K level? hmmm...:)

paul...re: dell oversold..

simply put, the bulk of the selling is in a drying up process, when all the selling dries up...stock moves up until overbought...natural ebb and flow of stocks....money goes in...money goes out...daily occurrence...sometimes not noticeable...other times a major selloff or advance...good luck, ed a.

What's the definition of "oversold"?

An oversold condition manifests itself in the market when a stock that you own more of than you really should moves against you in a bigger way than you ever thought it could move and you're unprepared to do anything about it other than wish it back to an overbought condition.

Hope that helps,

Mark A. Peterson
