Aus - Went into J&R. Great computer store and good and reliable prices. You have to be a bit careful in Manhattan. Anyway wanted to see D-cameras but of course I would only vever buy one which used CF and SNDK CF at that anyway here's a rough version of the conversation with the salesman:- Can I see one that uses Sandisks? What is Sandisk? You know its CF. Oh yes well only Kodak uses CF and here they are. ( Taking out the CF from the big Kodak)... Oh sorry have you got one with a Sandisk CF in it? That is CF. Well maybe but only Sandisk is any good and this is YPN or YPV or something and is made buy a company called Hitachi and I don't recognize them for CF. Well they make the CF. Yes but couldn't you give me a big Kodak with a Sandisk CF? Who is Sandisk? We've never heard of them. OK sorry I would have bought the big Kodak.
