glenn:
i read the article where DELL earned 3.1Billion with puts/calls vs. 2.5Billion on product
Q: do these earnings ($3.1B) simply fall to the bottom line? if so, inflates earnings more than 50% above actual business based (recurrent) income..... boston chicken got into all kinds of trouble when they reported (one time) franchise fees as recurrent income...
i think this is the beginning of a downward drifting period....better prices will be available for most of the stuff out there...so, for buy and hold, i think you'll see better prices for taking a long position in DELL, INTC, and the other big techs...that ramp up from the fall to last week was almost 33% on the dow in 6 months....if i do any new buying, it's going to be with tighter stops than usual....IMO
