Hi Doug - I believe the May series of option only started trading Monday. I have been selling naked $7 1/2 puts for January, March and June... so far all (except June) expiring worthless. I suspect that the May series are all new "to-open" contracts and may also provide some hedging protection for the June series.

FWIW, I sold naked June $7 1/2 puts last week for $ 1 3/16..the May series were not available. Selling naked PUTs is an excellent way of buying stock. However, you must have the stock close below the strike price so that it gets PUT to you.
