I bought a little for covered call writing today at 12 1/2. Some shorts (they're particularly thick at the more active Yahoo! thread)seem to think GCTI compares unfavorably with GeoTel. Indeed, GeoTel's had quite a run. Have those folks looked at the insider trading on that one? Everyone's dumping shares in five figure chunks. Granted, there are lots of reasons for selling and only one for buying, but geez . . . I feel safer hedged down to the low 11s here. And the valuation of GeoTel is pretty far ahead of itself (P/E in hundreds). Given the choice of shorting one of these two, it would definitely be that one. Are there other serious competitors to GCTI? With all the management turnover at GCTI, I don't expect insider trading to reflect much on this stock. Fundamentally, this is a volatile, but solid company that should be in business in some form for some time to come. Technically, it appears to have formed a double bottom, with the weak hands shaken out. Looks good for a hedger like myself. Good Luck to All, Tuck
