IMHO a reasonable buyout move will let the rumor die out somewhat to cause a decent shake, and then move in -after market hours.

Seems pretty simple, play the rumor, then reposition for the fake(if there is one).

BTW, I thought Marconi was the Father of Bandwidth, or something like that. ( Marconi's achievement was to produce and detect the waves over long distances; radio.)
