Myron, I use a 14 period ADX, and my reading on SCAI is 33 for ADX..Using a 14 period ADX, any number over 40 signifies a mature trend...Your charting program must use a different number for periods than I use to get such a high number...When ADX gets above 40, I watch RS and Simple stochastic closely to determine overbought conditions(fast stochastic 8 day is also helpful)..Both have to agree to give me a sell signal..Your SCAI just had a directional indicator crossover, that means that +D1 has just gained the upper hand over -D1..This shows the trend is changing from negative to positive...ADX is a lagging indicator and will probably take a couple of days before it starts going up..In fact many times when the trend change takes place, ADX still goes down for a few more days, before the positive trend really takes hold... The negative trendline on SCAI as I see it is at 23.75....Right now, it looks like if you give it some time, you should take it out, and continue the upward trend..But the overall market is your achilles heel at this point....
