How far Russia has fallen. The Chechens kidnap one of Russia top defense ministers at the airport, and Russia can't do a thing about it. A few years ago Russia would have crushed those responsible, now they can just complain. Russia is in danger of losing control over huge parts of it's country, it's military is in shambles, and there doesn't appear to be any improvement on the horizon.

Their finance minister is on his way to the US to beg for money, and turns around in protest over the NATO action in Kosovo. That'll teach us.

Mike
