Robbie: Tim Miller from Invesco (never heard of him) was just on Taking Stock (or whatever). A caller asked about CPQ. Miller said he would not "step up to the plate" on CPQ now because of the uncertainty about earnings ... maybe 12 months out though, it'll be OK.

I still wouldn't be buying Dell now. Not with revenues dropping because of decreased prices (even while sales are increasing). The P/E has to get down to around 35 or so and then I might start thinking about it. But, hell, if I was going to take the plunge and buy more technology stocks, I'd just buy more CPQ here. Take away the BS hype and CPQ is the best buy right now as far as PC makers go, with a hell of a lot of new things coming in the future.

PS: CBRL now trading at the same price it was back in 1991 !!!!!!!!!!

Meanwhile sales and profits are up about 10-fold during that period !!
