Options are killing ! You either make millions or lose millions. The drop of $10 in YHOO in the last 2 days has wiped out 50% of my YHOO investment.......whereas only 15% of my investments would have been affected if I had invested in shares......so the ability to write off large losses is extremely important....

Annual rate of return is very much related to your risk taking capacity...I look for around 300%, after which I take a vacation (I try to - LOL). However, ones returns decrease with the portfolio size - thats been my experience.

All the best...

bretsky...re: looking to make incredible returns in options..

don't believe the hype, read roth and macmillan...and strive for a 15-18% per annum return...don't use margin, be realistic and preserve your capital...

if you are a beginner, you only know what the recent years have wrought...not always that way...if you want to accrue wealth, invest, don't trade and go long dell at these levels...not touting dell, but compare its fundamentals to the momos as aol, ebay, etc...

start on the right foot...it's easier to walk that way...good luck, ed a.
