Gosh, you guys are so clever! If my memory serves, this is the first time LT has been right in many many years, guess you figure once a decade is a good track record. But, hey, enjoy, it won't last if you keep betting against Dell. P.S. Go ahead, stay short on Dell, show us all just how right you are. Good luck.

Jim,
Dell will not only see the equivalent of 110 again (55 split), it will see $110/share post split. I have put my money where my mouth is on this by owning more than 10000 shares long, AND by buying more than 4000 shares of calls.
What are your positions? Did you short DELL at 105? If you did then congratulations. Please tell us when you cover (the day you cover, not weeks later). I keep a healthy respect for people with the guts to short Dell. They have more guts than I have. I believe that they also need that strong constitution. In the mean time, I will hold my shares and probably go to sleep for a year....

Tell me why you though Dell was through. Is it still true, more so, or less so today then when it was at 105 a few months ago?

With the stock down below 40 and the results not in yet for China growth, servers, network storage, gigabuys, IBM plans, Dell in the under $1K market, etc.
Furthermore, I believe that DELL will be announcing a few more large corporations that have standardized on DELL in the next few weeks.

Wonder how that will effect the stock...

Short away sir, you have my utmost admiration...
Craig
