<<HTCH is often back-end loaded
and this lousy March could still inflict more damage as it will on the rest of the HDD>>
I've never regarded HTCH as back-end loaded. With TSA operating at full capacity, the ramp is a factor but this quarter's ave weekly production figures should be pretty well in the bag based on the first 11 weeks.
Anyone getting a good feel for whether PC sales recoving now that Pentium III out. Alex Brown has said so and thinks CPQ will meet estimates.

<<Fujitsu will be down some in units Q/Q this quarter, but I'm told even at this point they,
"will still be profitable and are not the low priced leader." So I don't think they will be bad
guys that Z was worried about.>>
If I was the one worried, stocks wouldn't be down. Montgomery was worried about inroads by Fujitsu and Hitachi in notebook drives.
