Bill, when gold bottoms.. all these shenanigans will just make the rally that much more explosive... you can't manipulate a mkt in the long run... the mkt is bigger than you. You can only buy time.. and theirs is running out. The stock and bond mkts are falling apart.. gold will make a move soon and there'll be nothing they can do to stop it. The yen is the key, when it launches... gold will fly!

The fact that gold didn't tank when the IMF sales were floated is quite bullish. Gold even appeared to get a better bid than treasuries off of Kosovo today showing a key reversal. Traders' commitments this Fri will be key. If Al sells gold into any rally.... he'll get mowed. 1987 was a technical currency phenom.. today we have that and economic deflation/depression. Very different circumstances. If gold breaks out.. it will run over anything in its path this time.

In the end for all actions.. there is an equal and opposite reaction in the future... the 1987 bailout will be paid for eventually.
