I think Emachines will make its IPO; whether it's with or without red ink will be immaterial as long as folks love growth. I think the worse things get, the more people scour out 'real' growth -- I agree with the folks who tar growth investors as pessimists. I don't think any of the big four boxmakers can match Emachines in low-end pricing. They've already blown past PB-NEC. The only thing that could stop them would be a big jump in the Won, and I think that only happens in case of a wide collapse by the dollar. If _that_ occurs, I'll gladly eat my Dell puts -- my non-US holdings and non-US$ cash will make up for it.
