I am of the opinion that the markets go where the capital takes them to. Since I do not see a Vietnam kind of involvement (with its related economic and social effects), I don't see any effect from the military operations even if they are blamed for the markets' actions. Follow the answer to my post on the AoI thread. It is an interesting article on the effects of global capital flows on US equities. It is predicting a high probability that Mar 19 was the high and Apr 9 will be turning point towards the low. I don't like analysis which tends to try to be accurate to the day. But I agree with the basic premises of the article.
