This has nothing to do with "blaming" DELL for anything. But DELL carries weight unlike few other companies in the market due to its amazing growth history, unbelievable stock appreciation, and its ability to act as a barometer for the overall tech market.

It goes with the territory of being a "Bellweather". Not a bad place to be, provided business is good. Unfortunately, if things go wrong, not only does the Bellweather pay, but it usually drags the whole market segment down with it.

Now, for the record, I never said DELL would preannounce. What I have been saying was that if there was any risk of them not hitting their revenue number for this Q, they would have to preannounce because of the beating they took last Q. If business for them this Q is status quo and there is nothing "abnormal", then today was nothing but a GREAT buying opportunity.

Also, I have said all along that this decline in DELL stock price is a great opportunity for those that want to pick up some DELL for a LONG TERM INVESTMENT.

For God sakes, somewhere deep down inside my soul, I am praying DELL even surprises us on the upside this Q!!!!
