The Linebaugh is not overlarge. It's basically a Bisley Blackhawk with a 5 1/2 inch barrel.
The "super large bang bang " would be my 45-70 SSK Contender single shot. 405 grain bullets at a confirmed 1600 feet per second. Youchers.
Since it has a muzzlebrake - it is actually a little comfier to shoot than the Linebaugh. A colleague refers to it as the Noisy Cricket, after the weapon from "Men in Black".
