Well spoken Boolish! I absolutely agree. One never knows whether someone is pumping up a stock to short it later. No one on this board would stoop that low, would you Doug? LOL You wouldn't because now that you've returned from the dark side, the force is with you! Right? LOL

Donkeyman,
I know that we will continue to pick up volume on this stock and after the announcement I would expect huge volume just like you said. I just hope that more is on the buy side than sell side! Hopefully most investors will view this one as a long term keeper, otherwise the daytraders will eat away at it like piranhas.

Chief and others,
Thanks for the input on my question about the definition of a penny stock.

I have to second what our friend Boolish is saying! Remember it is your money, you earned it! NEVER let someone else talk you into doing (or not doing) something that you are not comfortable with.

For a new investor, I suggest that before you even consider putting up any money, you need to take time to assess whether you really understand what the company you want to invest in is doing. Don't minimize your own experiences and knowledge. They are invaluable in this game.

When I begin to evaluate a business I may want to invest in, I often will imagine myself having to buy the business outright. I then think about whether I could run the business if I had to. If I couldn't (because I didn't understand how it works), then I usually don't invest. I believe that I couldn't do a good job if I don't understand how it works. I may speculate in it, but I don't call this investing. For what it's worth, Warren Buffet only invests in businesses that he understands.

After I have looked into this company on my own, and I believe I have a good feel for what makes it tick, I then start to find out what else I can find. I look for things such as, the market, and its place in it, the strength of its management team, and its business plans, etc..

By the time I start to zero in on a discussion site for this stock, I really now am at the stage where I primarily looking for information that supports or refutes what I have already determined. I see that keeping an open mind to people who are either long or short is essential to my full understanding of the opportunities and pitfalls that lay ahead.

What I personally find hard to take are individuals who do not contribute to the gaining of information through balanced debate and posting of research. I find that those who are blatant in their attacks, (either Pro or Con) and are not willing to reason with others - often have a hidden agenda. These individual contribute nothing of substance which helps others to make informed decisions on their investments.

I also believe that people can change their opinions on whether a stock is a attractive or negative. Personalities and past slights can cloud anyone's willingness to listen, share, and in some cases - forgive. Sometimes it is hard, but I try to be open and communicative with others if they are bringing something to the table in the discussion.

I have to continually remind myself that when money is at stake, people's senses are heightened and their defenses are up. To be successful in this game, what I believe we need to do is to be thorough, diligent, and open to ideas - no matter who they may come from!

Yes, it is possible to fall into traps, but I think that remembering that it is YOUR money, and if you want to invest it, you should always strive to do it wisely, with caution, and with an open mind.

Well that about wraps it up for me now. Sorry for the long diatribe folks! "O.K. - now I have officially come off my soap box"

I remain,

Crazy "Blah, Blah, Blah" Canuk

FWIW I've never shorted this or any other stock. Yes I'm currently long BII , I've previously stated my reasons as to why. I just post my observations and understandings that's all. Take em or leave em your choice, no hidden agenda on my part.
