OJ, At the risk of enriching someone who uses far too many caps and seems generally too excitable to properly husband large amounts of capital... I enjoy shorting SPY periodically. It requires no stock-picking expertise, it moves like a torpid lizard, and allows me lots of time to average up/down without worrying that I'll lose the house while I'm in the shower. If I were smarter and/or more ambitious or greedy I'd use more exotic methods. Come to think of it, I <<have used...>>...but life's too short to sit around price options all day :)

If we do, good luck guessing which 3 Dow stocks are going to carry it. What I do know is that breaking that trendline represents breaking the back of the bull market that started in 94.
