FWIW,I am trying to come to a decision among three specialty chemical stocks: LI, RPM, and SHLM. LI, I already own (thinking of either buying more or just holding on); starting a position in RPM with its great earnings and sales history - and now at a low price; or SHLM with a slightly better div. yield, also (i.e. as RPM) with a recent and substantial stock buyback and also selling near its lows. SHLM is more a commodity play than RPM- and has a pretty good record of increasing dividends (not like RPM - but again, it's pretty hard to beat RPM's record).

For me picking one among three is like the old shell game - and so I always pick the wrong one. Possibly, best thing is to buy a package of all three. Not sure if I want to do that yet.
