Why Apr 1, 1999? I thought it was Sep 9, 1999 that might be a problem (9/9/99).

I have a print out at work from that time, I noticed that as some of the predictions become false, they are deleted from this thread.

The latest one I noticed is that at one time they said by the Spring of 99, COBOL programmers would be making $500.00 an hour!!

I know a lot of COBOL programmers, I am one of them, and just 10% of $500.00 an hour would be a very nice raise.
